The Meersbrook Park Netball Club

Meersbrook Park Netball Club is open to women of all levels of fitness and of netball experience. If haven't played since you were at school, and hated it then, this club is for you; if you are an experienced palyer then you will find some hard competition!

The club has been running since 2005 and is run by volunteers from the local area (although women from across Sheffield do come along too).

The Venue...

We meet in the fenced-in hard sports area next to the pavillion, inside Meersbrook Park.
We run 2 sessions a week:

Wednesday 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm

Cost: £ 2.00
Wear general appropriate sportswear.
This session offers general exercise and fitness, netball coaching and a half-hour game of netball.
Suitable for women of all fitness levels and netball experience.

Sunday 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm

Cost: £ 2.00
Wear general appropriate sportswear.
This session is for those who want to compete in the summer netball league at the English Institute of Sport on Tuesday evenings.
It is a much more rigorous training session, designed to stretch to the limit so that we can win the league!

If you are interested, why not come along?

We are there every week (unless it is raining really hard..) and we stop for a couple of weeks at Christmas.
